A multi-level commercial premises operating as a beer café and bar, featuring a main public bar floor, a complex back-of-house commercial kitchen, prep areas, rear storage, customer facilities, and a lower-ground cellar network.

Brief:
The client required a highly precise measured building survey of the entire operational commercial space. The data was needed to map out the exact internal layout, structural walls, levels, and service access points to assist with space optimization, structural alterations, or updated licensing and fire safety plans.

Survey Completed
Carried out a comprehensive measured building survey of the multi-level commercial bar and café premises utilizing a Trimble X7 laser scanner to minimize operational disruption. The survey successfully captured an intricate digital record of the property’s entire layout, accurately mapping out the main public bar area, active commercial kitchen, and prep stations. Additionally, the dataset features detailed planning records for back-of-house storage facilities, customer washrooms, the structural rear elevation, and the tight structural constraints of the lower-ground keg storage and cellar corridors.
